Members - Mike

Mike is a Partner in the forensic accounting practice. He is a recognized leader in accounting, auditing and forensic accounting throughout California and the nation. He has been instrumental in the establishment of high professional standards for the practice of public accounting in California. Mike is Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and is also a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) granted by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. He received his Master of Business Administration in 1970. Mike is an active member of the AICPA and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CalCPA) (Past President). Mike was the First Chair of the AICPA Forensic and Valuation Services Committee, a senior AICPA committee, and subsequently served as the First Chair of the Certified in Financial Forensics Committee. Mike was the recipient of the 2002 CalCPA Distinguished Service Award.

Mike has testified in Federal and state courts and other tribunals across the United States on numerous occasions. In addition, Mike has been appointed as a Special Master, Referee, and an arbitrator by the Federal and California state courts on several occasions.

Mike's passion for family, hiking and cross-country skiing can only be mirrored by his passion for the accounting profession.
