Members - John

John is a Partner in the forensic accounting practice. He has over 30 years of experience in accounting, management, and finance. John has served as Chief Financial Officer in private industry as well as a manager for large public accounting and consulting firms. John earned his CPA certificate in 1980, was awarded his Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) designation by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners in 2002, and earned his Certified Financial Forensics (CFF) designation in 2008. He is past member of the Board of the Sacramento Chapter of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants and is an active member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. John has provided expert witness testimony at trials and depositions in California and Nevada State Courts and is on the faculty of the National Judicial College.

John has been married for 40 years and is the father of two grown children. He and his wife live in the country surrounded by their horses. John has a lifelong interest in history, particularly the Civil War, and has traveled to numerous battlefields. He is also an avid, though middling, golfer.
