Amy is a Principal in the firm, and is responsible for the firm's Tax and Accounting Services. She has over 15 years of experience providing tax, accounting and consulting services to clients in a variety of industries.
As trusted business advisor, Amy provides tax and accounting services to closely-held businesses in the real estate, agriculture, trucking, distribution and service industries. Amy has spent several years specializing in partnership taxation. In addition, Amy provides litigation and forensic accounting services in the areas of special accounting and professional standards. Amy truly enjoys establishing beneficial working relationships with her clients.
Amy received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 1994 and her Master of Science in Taxation from Golden Gate University in 1999. She is Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and holds a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) credential from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. Amy is a member of the AICPA, the California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CalCPA) and the Sacramento Estate Planning Counsel. Currently, Amy is Co-Chair of the Sacramento Student Outreach Committee for the CalCPA.
Away from her professional life, Amy spends most of her time with her family. She has a wonderful husband and daughter who keep her very busy, and she also enjoys scrapbooking, reading, and spending time with friends.
